What curricula does All Round Education cover?
All Round Education Academy offers tutoring for five major international curricula: IGCSE (Cambridge CIE and Edexcel), IB Diploma Programme (IBDP), IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), A-Level (CIE, Edexcel IAL, AQA and OCR) and HSC for students targeting universities both abroad and in Hong Kong. Each curriculum has its own dedicated team of subject specialist tutors.
Do you offer online or in-person tutoring in Hong Kong?
We offer both. In-person tutoring sessions are held at our centres in both Kowloon and on HK Island. Our tutors deliver online classes via Zoom or an equivalent video platform and are available to students anywhere in Hong Kong or abroad. A hybrid approach — alternating between in-person and online — is also popular with families who have variable schedules.
How are your tutors selected?
Each tutor is assessed through a multi-stage selection process covering subject knowledge (written test), pedagogy (observed lesson) and exam board familiarity. We only hire tutors who have first-hand expertise in the specific curriculum and subject they will teach — not generalist tutors who cover many different syllabi. Many of our tutors have examiner experience or are themselves high-scoring IB or A-Level graduates.
